Fetal therapy or fetal treatment is a field of fetal medicine that involves the diagnosis and treatment of fetal abnormalities. It includes nonsurgical methods like medication provided to the mother to cross the placenta and reach the fetus and surgical methods to help the fetus to stay alive and promote its growth.
